Techno Savvy Teacher offers a variety of services tailored for educational stakeholders. We customize professional development programs and workshops to meet your needs. Our technology experts have previously designed programs for smaller audiences such as a particular subject area at a school, to larger workshops that service an entire school site faculty and staff. Our technology experts also have previous experience designing and implementing professional development programs for district wide professional learning communities.
Previous clients include the School District of Hillsborough County, ranked 8th largest school district in the United States. With 900 students and a faculty/staff of 80, Coleman Middle School, located in South Tampa, FL, has utilized various services of Techno Savvy Teacher. Their newly designed school web site offers increased functionality for faculty, staff, parents, and the community while improving communication and creating a self-help information hub. Implemented in September, 2008, Coleman Middle School also called upon the services of Techno Savvy Teacher to create a customized progress report system that is dedicated to increasing efficient school based operations and improving student progress monitoring. This system was also created and customized for Davidsen Middle School who implemented the student progress report system in September, 2010. Other schools in the district including Folsom Elementary School, and Metropolitan Ministries Partnership School have utilized various services of Techno Savvy Teacher.
Techno Savvy Teacher has also served on various educational committees and have offered their time to help design, write, and implement technology grants such as Hewlett Packard's Technology for Teaching, awarded in June, 2007 to Pinellas County School's Madeira Beach Middle School, located in Madeira Beach, FL. |
