About Brenda:
Brenda Conway, an Instructional Technology Resource Teacher for Spotsylvania County Schools, in Virginia believes that teaching should focus on facilitating student learning. Children are naturally inquisitive and achieve through challenging, relevant, inquiry based instruction. Brenda earned her BA from Mary Baldwin Adult Degree Program and her Masters from Virginia Commonwealth University through a grant provided by the National Science Foundation. Brenda's passion for inquiry, challenges, and space has taken her to Space Camp as a Honeywell Educator at NASA Space Academy and as a participant in the Northrop Grumman Weightless Flight of Discovery Zero G Flight program in 2007. Brenda currently shares her passion of space with students and teachers as a MESSENGER/NASA Education Teaching Fellow. Brenda is also a Thinkquest/Oracle Facilitator and an Intel Field Trainer. Brenda joined Techno Savvy Teacher Educational Consultants in August, 2008 and is the creator of the term "WE Tools" that has become a cornerstone of the educator tools Techno Savvy Teacher Educational Consultants use in professional development workshops. |
